This discussion focuses on identifying bullying and harassment: the various types, negative ways to use power, emotions and feelings, 5 basic emotional needs, the cycle of hurt and self-care.
This community recycling program event offers families the opportunity to both share and benefit with other families within the community.
Family Violence Awareness
The discussion includes 'myths and facts' about family violence and intimate partner violence. Encouraging participants to define abuse and looking at signs and ways to help through open discussion.
Support Group Facilitation
Support Groups provides the opportunity to receive support and strategies from an FCSS counsellor as well as from others experiencing similar struggles.

Learn to better manage stress by focusing your awareness on the present and developing a different way of relating to your experiences. Participants complete activities and discuss them in a secure online forum at their leisure.

Trained volunteers offering FREE assistance with tax returns to individuals, families, seniors with modest income and simple tax situations, who meet the income criteria.

An interactive presentation exploring the "traffic light" approach to boundaries and to explore less helpful boundaries.
In this class parents and caregivers will learn about self-care; what it means to each individual, how to make it a priority and some simple strategies to fit it in to any schedule.
