Find out how to help them communicate well, develop self-discipline and good routines, follow rules and solve problems.
Caregiver Café Tween/Teen Remote/Online
This online/virtual class is for parents/caregivers of tweens/teens to connect with other adults. An opportunity to come together to discuss the successes and challenges of parenting emerging adolescents and teens in a supportive environment.
Making Mindfulness Moments Remote/Online
Learn to better manage stress by focusing your awareness on the present and developing a different way of relating to your experiences. Participants complete activities and discuss them in a secure online forum at their leisure.
Each year BEW FCSS hosts an annual event to share and celebrate the impact of FCSS within our region. At this event, a Year in Review report is shared to illustrate the positive impact within the communities.
Developmental Check-ups (ASQ)

“Me” On Purpose Remote/Online
This online educational program is designed to help empower youth, ages 12 to 18, to learn more about themselves (values, beliefs, habits), what matters to them and why, where they are now and where they want to be in the future.
These presentations may involve a variety of topics such as stress, anxiety, bullying, resiliency, self-esteem, healthy relationships and personal responsibility. The presentations are built around the 40 Developmental Assets model to support the development of personal and life skills.
Family Violence Awareness
The discussion includes 'myths and facts' about family violence and intimate partner violence. Encouraging participants to define abuse and looking at signs and ways to help through open discussion.

Male and Female Brains - is there a difference, and if so, how on earth do we co-parent? There's a lot of conflicting information out there about whether there are real differences between male and female brains. Come see what neuroscience is showing us and learn some practical strategies for co-parenting.
