Triple P Teen Discussion Groups
A discussion group is a short, small group session run by an accredited Triple P provider. Each session brings together parents who are experiencing the same parenting issues with their teens and offers parents practical advice for tackling specific problem behaviour.

The discussion topics explore different problems parents commonly face and some of the reasons why they happen. Parents are introduced to positive parenting strategies to help prevent problems. All approaches are evidence-based, and parents choose which approach suits them best.

Assisting residents: Who are feeling isolated or vulnerable. Need someone to talk to. Someone to listen. Connect with additional resources.
These presentations may involve a variety of topics such as stress, anxiety, bullying, resiliency, self-esteem, healthy relationships and personal responsibility. The presentations are built around the 40 Developmental Assets model to support the development of personal and life skills.

Support Group Facilitation
Support Groups provides the opportunity to receive support and strategies from an FCSS counsellor as well as from others experiencing similar struggles.
The group will help youth, ages 11-13, learn successful resilience skills, using a growth mindset and journaling approach.

These post-natal classes help new parents learn about the challenges and rewards of parenting as well as the skills needed to help baby grow and develop all from the comfort of your home.

A free virtual workshop for youth aged 13-18 who are interested in learning how to plan and create miniature magazines.
Indigenous Crafts & Conversation
Crafts and Conversation is a group for Indigenous people in rural communities to meet with other Indigenous people while learning beading and other crafts, learning cultural stories, language and traditions.
