Triple P Discussion Group - Hassle Free Mealtimes with Kids

Do you have a child who throws food or argues at mealtimes? This discussion topic uses mealtimes as an example of one of the most common times parents have to deal with difficult behaviour.

Triple P Discussion Groups

The discussion topics explore different problems parents commonly face and some of the reasons why they happen. Parents are introduced to positive parenting strategies to help prevent problems. All approaches are evidence-based, and parents choose which approach suits them best.

Triple P (Positive Parenting Program)

This program provides parents with simple and practical strategies to help them build strong, healthy relationships, confidently manage their children's behavior and prevent problems developing. To learn more click.

Taming Worry Dragons

We all experience feelings of worry and fear during our lives, and children are no exception. This program aims to help children ages 8-12 years old who are affected by worry and anxiety.

Report to Municipalities

Each quarter BEW FCSS shares with the municipalities within our region about some of the highlights for a service provided to the municipalities.

ASQ - Developmental Check-ups

Parents complete an age-appropriate questionnaire about their child's development. The check-ups provide parents with support and information about their child's development. To learn more or to fill out a questionnaire on line please click.

Triple P Seminar 1 - The Power of Positive Parenting

For every parent who ever wondered: "Why does my child do that?" This seminar helps you understand the reasons kids do what they do, so you can guide their behaviour - and see more of the behaviour you like, and less of the behaviour you don't like.

Self-Care

In this class parents and caregivers will learn about self-care; what it means to each individual, how to make it a priority and some simple strategies to fit it in to any schedule.

Understanding the Developing Brain

In this session we will explore the amazing neuroscience of how children's brains develop, and how we can use this information in our everyday lives to help our children maximize their potential.

You, Your Child & Anxiety

This presentation will cover all things anxiety; what it is, how it affects us, how to recognize it in children and strategies to help manage it.
