The objective of this service is to provide resources, information and support to youth and their parents (or caregivers) as individuals navigate through the teen years.
To achieve this objective FCSS staff offer a variety of community and school programs to assist youth in their day to day lives.
Wellness & Me Remote/Online
An online educational support group for children ages 9 to 12 that is designed to introduce evidence based wellness principles and practices.
Rainbows For All Children
A 12 week program that helps children who are grieving the loss of a parent or guardian due to death, divorce, deployment, or trauma.
Youth Counselling and Support
Counselling services offered specifically to youth to assist with the unique needs and struggles which often occur during this time of development.
We all experience feelings of worry and fear during our lives, and children are no exception. This programs aims to help children understand.
Kaleidoscope - Young Writers Club
A free virtual writing club for youth aged 13-18. Participants will learn about different elements of storytelling and writing while working towards joining in a writing challenge in July. New members welcome at any time.
Kaleidoscope - Dungeons & Dragons
A free virtual workshops for LGBTQ2S+ youth aged 14-18 to play Dungeons & Dragons. An opportunity to socialize and build new skills.
“Me” On Purpose Remote/Online
This online educational program is designed to help empower youth, ages 12 to 18, to learn more about themselves (values, beliefs, habits), what matters to them and why, where they are now and where they want to be in the future.
Nobleford Summer Fun Leadership Camp

A free virtual event for youth aged 14-18 to follow along with a Bob Ross tutorial, learning more about painting while building social skills and self-esteem. Free event with all materials provided; registration closes 3 days prior to event.
Book Club - The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens
This Book Club is designed to teach teens, ages 12-19 years of age, the 7 habits, core principles and practices that help lead teens towards a more purposeful, healthy, vibrant and successful future.

Kaleidoscope - Poetry & Lyrics Workshop
A free virtual event for youth aged 13-18 who want to learn more about different styles of poetry, how to find inspiration to write it, and get some practice writing & sharing their work!
These presentations may involve a variety of topics such as stress, anxiety, bullying, resiliency, self-esteem, healthy relationships and personal responsibility. The presentations are built around the 40 Developmental Assets model to support the development of personal and life skills.
