Michelle Eagle Tail Feathers

Michelle joined the FCSS team in 2024.  She is a Blackfoot Member from Kainai Nation. Her Blackfoot name is Iikanasspiiaakii, which translates to Slow/Calm/Gentle Dancer. Michelle has a bachelor’s degree in management with a major in First Nations Governance from the University of Lethbridge. She has experience in developing and running Indigenous family programs and creating culturally relevant curriculums, handouts, workshops, and activities. Michelle also has a passion for helping people and giving back to her respected communities in any way that she can.
