To help preserve seniors’ independence, FCSS provides programs and services to both seniors and their families. These programs enable seniors to make choices that will improve their health and well-being.
Programs and services available to seniors and their families are as follows:
- Presentations/Seminars: Presentations are offered on a wide range of topics to support the wellness of seniors in their everyday lives.
- Information and Support: Seniors, families, and caregivers can receive information on a variety or resources, including personal directives, Alberta Seniors Benefits, and Old Age Security benefits (among others).
- Intergenerational Programs: Connecting seniors and youth allows them to share knowledge and develop local friendships.
